WMH Reading Curriculum:
Logical
Phonics is used to organize the program in a logical and sequential way. There is a concept-based classification of difficulty, rather than a high-frequency word system. Students master one concept at a time, then move on to the next.
Confidence Building
You will be delighted to learn that your child will be able to read all the words in the book! Your child will never be presented with words that they are not capable of reading. There is no guesswork involved. This is a revolutionary system!

WMH Reading employs the Hanson Reading Method. This method of learning to read is unlike any other program you've seen! This approach works effectively for every type of learner including students with learning disabilities.
Hanson Reading Method
It's simple to understand the Hanson Reading Phonics Chart System: Master each chart and apply it. We review the charts every lesson. The Charts aid students in organizing information in their brains for easy retrieval. As part of Hanson Reading, the teacher can assess a child's reading level using the Charts as a guide. In order to progress to the next Chart, the child must have mastered the information in the Chart at the proficient level and be able to apply the Chart skills. It couldn't be simpler!

I'm Megan Ramirez, and I bring over 20 years of experience in teaching reading through private lessons, group sessions, and my role as a contracted reading specialist in the Bay Area. My methodology is rooted in the Hanson Reading Method, which I had the privilege of learning directly from Lynne Hanson over two decades ago. This extensive experience has earned the trust of many parents and educators, enabling me to assist countless children in improving their reading skills. I'm passionate about my work and dedicated to helping your child or student thrive in reading.
